A review of Merseyside Society For Deaf People by FEB written on Monday 5th of September 2016

Disorganized. Not people centered support. Social Works Dept failed to comply with DoH Guidance when doing Deaf/Blind assessments. For 10 years no involvement with assessments, reviews, care plan or support plan. Would not recommend. MSDP failed to admit to their failings after Ombudsman Decision. Case with Solicitor's to sue Organisation. Not registered with CQC, no protection for Service Users. Charged double hours for bank holidays, info not provided in preferred format and the list goes on. Check and vet the Organisation before deciding on whom provides your support. Care Act 2014 states you must have a choice and not restricted to the 1 Provider..
