My abiding memory of RB? After only a few days at the school (about 1962) I was knocked over in the playground, and badly gashed my head. This was cleaned and dressed, and I was on way back to lessons...

However, this bravado came to nought when,at dinner,I passed out and went face first into a bowl of semolina......

I came to in a teacher's car, almost at home (2 Auburn Road)......my forehead still has the impression....

Happy days (or is that daze?).
