Hello , My name is Michael I am from Brooklyn New York U.S.A. I was given a looking glass from a neighbor some 35years ago , she said she recieved it as a little girl from her grandfather, at the time she was 75yrs old , I am trying to track down any history about the looking glass the names on it are A.Courns 13-waterloo Road Liverpool and then another name J.P. Pollan, since you are at the address I was hoping that these names might be familiar to someone , the looking glass is Brass, and opens three fold and has a leather cover I am sure it is from the 1800's but I would love to track down as much info as I could It might have belonged to a sailor or maybe your address was a factory which produced looking glasses at one time.
