"Smartest indian takeaway in merseyside"

I initially was reluctant to visit arong in aintree, as I didnt think you could better my regular weekend venue.

However as a very good friend would regularly drink in waterloo (home to many indian food establishments)and then would travel all the way to Aintree for his curry, i just didnt see the sense.

On one occasion I joined him on his journey out of curiosity. I have to say i was very pleasantly surprised by the design and layout of the venue. I mean you just dont expect to walk into an indian takeaway and hear the cool sounds of Stevie Wonder, Prince, Jamiroquai. The kitchen is open planned with a fridge displaying its array of chilled beer and wine.

Then came the important part the food. My wife always orders the chicken tikka mosala, and after a helpful chat a member of staff I opted for a coconut pillau to go with it. For myself I orderd the Lamb chop starters, followed by a hot chicken mumbai with a keema pillau.

The lamb chops were fabulous, my wife loved the mosala and rice. My mumbai was an eplosion of tastes. I think ive found my new regular indian.
